Working from home today, due to the non-snow storm event. Tomorrow (Sunday), I will be going into the shop to do a carving job for Jim, I think. We ended up with a plumbing issue last night, so Jim is busy re-running the cold water supply to the water heater. Fortunately, wasn't a lot of water to mop up last night, but all in all, I'm having trouble thinking about what I want to accomplish this weekend. Having the tv on doesn't help either. So I just replaced that noise with the radio. Don't know if that will make a difference in a good way or not.

I have the problem that when my mind gets into snow mode, all I really want to do is watch the snowflakes. I might do some things around the house, but I have a very hard time doing work, and I'm behind on so many things... having a migraine all day Friday didn't help with that. So, since my brain is functioning, even if my will isn't, I can play with this for a bit.

I want to try building the latest version of Eridu this weekend, as well as log into the MH drupal site. I also want to move my writing projects forward and finish those things that I planned for last Sunday. My three big work projects are Rhine, IANDS and GHL. Plus there are scads of little things to do on other sites. I need a good ticket system to keep track of it all. It seems that none of my project/time management tools have made the grade. Perhaps the best use of my time this weekend would be to do that. It has to be something that everyone will use, not just me.

Well, I spent a good chunk of Saturday updating vTiger and working with it. Sunday, I spent all day carving. It turns out that the 'little' bit was to redo all of the carving, but this time on a block of hard maple rather than poplar. So, even though I felt like I was working quickly and efficiently, it actually took over 6 hours to do the job. And today (Monday) I am stiff and sore for it. So I'll have to go back sometime to finish the other job. Fortunately, it is only a small, fairly crude pineapple, so it won't be nearly as much work.
